Your contract typically has a Start Date and a Completion Date.

While your project should be completed by the date indicated on the contract, in reality there are many events and situations beyond the control of the contractor that can breach the completion date. Here are a few:

• Weather
• Illness
• Supply Shortage 
• Pandemic
• Staffing issues

Please realize that the best outcome can only be achieved when you have open and honest conversation with your contractor.

While its important to hold your contractor accountable under the contract, please remember that you should not interfere with the technicians and do NOT move furniture and appliances on site until the project is completed and you receive a Certificate of Final Completion.
